The legalization of marijuana in some states has brought about a revolution in the way people think about smoking pot. It has drastically changed the perception of the product and of the industry. Now that it is legal I want to however explore for a minute how comfortable more and more people are about marijuana being acceptable in almost all situations.

I personally prefer to support my local community and not the states agenda, but I did go into a retail dispensary recently and I was surprised at the amount of people inside and in line.

No longer viewed as taboo, the retail marijuana industry is now thriving and providing an entirely new set of goods and services. This newfound acceptance of marijuana has resulted in increased demand for products ranging from cannabis-infused edibles to pre-rolled joints.

These items are not only fueling local economies but are also helping to legitimize the product.

The acceptance of marijuana is occurring nationwide; recreational marijuana is legal in 21 sates and medical marijuana is legal in 38 (as of April 3, 2023) states and Washington DC.
